Mary Shows

Mary Alyce Lonsford Shows, 90, born December 23, 1931 and died October 15. Resident of Jackson, Alabama since 1974. Loving wife to Johnnie Anderson Shows from October 28, 1950 until his death on October 17, 2004. Together they welcomed four children: Michael Louis (Vicki) Shows, Pamela Shows (Billy) Eggers, Johnnie 'Jay' Anderson ( Rosemary) Shows II, Kimberly Shows (Anthony) Burkett. Followed by 10 grandchildren, 13 great-grandchildren, and 1 great-great-grandchild. She will be dearly missed, but her family's sadness is lessened by knowing she is joyfully reunited with her husband that she has missed so much. Family and friends are invited to gather for a family service at Lathan Funeral Home in Jackson on Friday, October 21, 2022 at 4 p.m. with a visitation 1 hour prior. In lieu of flowers, the family is requesting donations to the Clarke County Animal Shelter, P.O. Box 143 Grove Hill, AL 36451, or your local animal shelter. Or The Alzheimer's association, www.alz.org. Pallbearers will be Michael Eggers, Mint Shows, Jayson Shows, Brian Burkett, Devin Blackledge, Taylor Blackledge, Lisa Blackledge, and Haley Burkett.
