Matthew Richardson

November 10, 1983 — June 18, 2023

Matthew Caleb Richardson, 39, of Fruitdale passed away suddenly Sunday, June 18, 2023. Matt, as he was affectionately known, was born November 10, 1983 in New Orleans, LA to Bill and Linda Richardson. Matt was a pipe welder by trade and talent; he excelled at and enjoyed his job immensely. He was a diehard Alabama fan and an avid fisherman. Matt enjoyed playing guitar and even taught his daughter to play. He enjoyed spending time with his family beating them in a rowdy game of Texas Hold'em or trying to figure out how they cheated if he lost. He also enjoyed a more civil game of chess from time to time. Matt was a unique soul; a special man who was always ready to help someone.
