Mildred Mcintyre

Mildred Harrell McIntyre, 89, of Jackson passed away on September 23, 2022. She was born December 19, 1932 to Mary Elizabeth "Lizzy" and Reiley Harrell. Mildred married CP McIntyre and raised her family in the Pleasant Grove community. She worked at Vanity Fair as a seamstress for many years. She attended Antioch Baptist Church and enjoyed the all-day singing programs there and being able to spend that time with her church family, she also attended Pleasant Grove Baptist Church. She cherished the time she spent with her family cooking meals and visiting.
Preceded in death by her husband Culvain P. McIntyre, daughters Elaine Sheffield, and Sarah Pugh.
Survived by her son Jim (Jacquelyn) McIntyre, grandchildren Jessica (John) Grubbs, Ian (Laura) Pugh, Amanda "Mandy" Carrol, Joseph (Ashley) McIntyre, Ashley (Jeremy) Traweek, 6 great-grandchildren, and sister-in-law Retha Harrell.
Funeral services will be conducted at 2 p.m. on September 25, 2022 at Lathan Funeral Home in Jackson with Bro. Joe Bedwell officiating. A private interment will be at Griffin Chapel Cemetery in the Pleasant Grove community
