Mr. Barrymore London

Barry Glenn London Sr., 81, of Chatom, passed away August 21, 2017 at his residence. He was born March 22, 1936 to Hurbert and Achsa London. After serving in the U.S. Navy, he was employed with Scott Paper Co./Great Northern Paper as a pipefitter and enjoyed fishing.


He was preceded in death by his parents; sister, Donna (Rodney) McKinney; brother-in-law, Dave Stoddard and sister-in-law, Dianne London.


He is survived by his wife of 58 years, Doris Jones London; children, Pam (Erik) Gray, Glenn (Amanda) London; grandchildren, John (Megan) Gray, Kyle (Samantha) Gray, Russell (Jackie) Gray, Becky (Justin) Williams, Beth (Anthony) Roney; five great-grandchildren; siblings, Roanne Stoddard, Kim London and numerous nieces, nephews and friends.


Funeral services will be conducted at 11 a.m. on Wednesday, August 23, 2017 at Lathan Funeral Home in Chatom with Mike Elliott officiating. Visitation will begin at 10:30 a.m. Interment will follow the service at Jones-Beech Cemetery in Hobson with Lathan Funeral Home directing.


Pallbearers will be John Gray, Kyle Gray, Russell Gray, Erik Gray, Justin Williams and Anthony Roney.
