Myles Edward Williams Jr, 75, of Jackson, passed away on May 29, 2025, at his home. He was born on June 30, 1949, to parents Myles and Nonie Grey Williams Sr.. Myles served in the United States Marine Corps from 1968-1973, at which he served two tours in the Vietnam War, later he joined the National Guard and served in Desert Storm as an Military Police Officer. Myles was proud to serve his country and fight for what was right. Myles had a gift of firearms knowledge, he was a gun show dealer across the States and collected and sold military memorabilia, he was very well known for this in the gun collecting community. He retired from construction as a pipe fitter, and enjoyed his retirement fishing, spending time with his family, and of course going to the gun shows.
Preceded in death by his parents Myles E. Williams Sr. and Nonie Grey Walker Williams, and his brother Ronnie Williams.
Survived by his loving wife of 40 years, Patricia Williams, whom he deary loved. Children Helen (Mike) Sheffield, Randy (Joy) Baker, Gina Williams, and Myles E. Williams III, grandsons Jessie Parnell, John Sheffield, Matthew Sheffield, Chase Newton, Mason Beck, and Ashton Williams, granddaughters Brittany Black, Olivia Williams, Breshauna Williams, Angel Williams, Catherine Baker, and Jordan Baker, also a host of great-grandchildren. His sister Kitty (Bobby) Blackledge, brothers Kenneth (Nancy) Williams, Steve (Michelle) Williams.
Pallbearers will be John Sheffield, Jessie Parnell, Chase Newton, Ashton Williams, Walter Hite, and Troy Hite.
Funeral services will be at 2 p.m. on Saturday, May 31, 2025, at Lathan Funeral Home in Jackson with a visitation one hour prior to services, interment will be at Trinity Memorial Gardens.
