Nancy Byrd

Nancy Overstreet Byrd, 62, died November 13, 2023. Nancy was born November 15, 1960 to Edison Franklin and Byreece Dunagan Overstreet. Nancy had retired crom CPSI and moved to Jackson where she lived a simple and quiet life. She dearly loved and cared for all animals, especially her dear pets. She was a collector of all things who saw interesting aspects to things in ways others could not. She was an avid gardener who enjoyed spending a quiet evening with a good book or two. Nancy was a student of geneology who delighted in delving into her family history; she loved deeply, especially her family and dear friends.

Nancy is survived by her brother, Mark (Nicole) Overstreet of Jackson; niece, Mallory Overstreet of Pensacola, FL; nephew, Brody Overstreet of Mobile; nephew, Collin Brown of Jackson as well as numerous special cousins, other relatives and friends.

She is preceded in death by her parents and dear husband, Louis Max Byrd.

A memorial visitation will be held Wednesday, November 15, 2023 from 5:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. at Lathan Funeral Home, Jackson.
