Neil Bush Sr.

Neil Dixon Bush, Sr., 80, of Jackson, passed away November 12, 2017 at his residence. He was born January 29, 1937 to Gordon and Allera Bush. He had been employed as a teacher, but spent most of his career as a lab technician with Boise Cascade. He also served as a Little League coach and as the League president for several years and was an avid outdoorsman throughout his life.



He was preceded in death by his parents.



He is survived by his wife, Gretchen Andrews Bush; sons, Neil Dixon (Johnna) Bush, Jr., Jonathan Andrews (Dianna) Bush; grandchildren, Anna Larrimore (Mark) Marchant, Kimbell McNeil Bush, Gordon Rex Bush, Emily Grace Bush, Mary Elizabeth Bush and great-grandchildren, Allera Grace Marchant and Mary Arden Marchant.



Funeral services will be conducted at 11 a.m. on Friday, November 17, 2017 at McCann's United Methodist Church in Jackson with the Rev. Forrest Weekley officicating. Visitation will begin one hour prior to the service. Interment will follow the service at Pinecrest Cemetery in Jackson with Lathan Funeral Home directing.



Pallbearers will be Rex Henderson, Harold White, Lance Horsely, John Bush, Hayden Pugh, John Marchant, Doug Pugh and Al Garrett.
