Odette Hicks

Odette Moss Hicks, 78, of Fairhope, passed away Monday, May 27, 2019 at Thomas Hospital in Fairhope. She was born November 7, 1940 to Noah Moss and Eudie Baxter Moss in Chatom. A customer service associate in the retail industry, she enjoyed arranging flowers, yard work and sewing for children in her spare time.

She was preceded in death by her parents and son, Wayne Hennis.

She is survived by her husband, Curtis Hicks; children, Tim (Raichelle) Hennis, Tina Mull; step-children, Christine (Willie) Kilpatrick, Charles Hicks; grandson, Jeremy Paul Hennis; great-granddaughter, McKenzie Hennis and siblings, Jimmie Tidwell, Faye Baxter and Daisy (Doug) Howell.

Funeral services will be conducted at 3 p.m. on Thursday, May 30, 2019 at Lathan Funeral Home in Chatom with the Rev. David Perry officiating. Visitation will begin one hour prior to the service. Interment will follow the service at Four Points Baptist Cemetery with Lathan Funeral Home directing.

Pallbearers will be Lance Outerbridge, Douglas Waite, Leland James, Jr., David Baxter, Kenneth Baxter, Dakota Howell and Phillip Moss.
