Pam Few

October 1, 1951 — January 1, 2026

Pamela Pace Few, widely known as "Gran" or "Ms. Pam," of Jackson, left this world on January 1, 2026, at the age of 74. Born on October 1, 1951, she filled the lives of her family, friends, and community with joy, kindness, and unwavering strength.

For over 50 years, Pam was a beloved member of the Jackson Church of Christ, where her faith and dedication influenced many lives. As a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) at Jackson Medical Center for more than 40 years, she not only cared for countless patients but also trained and inspired many nurses, leaving a lasting legacy on the institution and within the healthcare community.

A proud breast cancer survivor, Pam faced life's challenges with grace and resilience, embodying the spirit of courage and hope. Those who knew her will fondly remember her love for the outdoors, often seen sitting by a campfire with her family while her husband, Thomas, strummed his guitar. She cherished traveling with her grandchildren to state parks and enjoyed peaceful moments at the creek. She was the cornerstone of her family and planned get-togethers regularly to gather her loved ones close, making memories full of laughter, love, and blessing. Her green thumb brought beauty into the world as she tended to her flowerbeds and embraced the sentiment of "Always take time to stop and smell the flowers."

Pam was a wonderful mother and a nurturing figure to many, turning her home into a gathering place filled with laughter, love, and endless support for her sons and their friends. Her vibrant personality shone through her love for bright colors and sparkly treasures, bringing her great joy during her excursions to "junk-tique" for trinkets for herself and to share with those she loved. Pam loved "gaudy" outfits and jewelry, the brighter and sparklier the better to emphasize her style and personality. A passionate reader, Pam could often be found engrossed in a book, devouring stories at an extraordinary pace. She had a gift for capturing moments through her photography, ensuring that cherished memories would always be savored and shared.

Pam is survived by her devoted husband of 57 years, Thomas D. Few; son, Josh Few (Lara); daughter-in-law, Christi Few; bonus-son, Scott Shaw; grandchildren, Candice Hayes (Travis) and Walton Thomas Few; great grandchildren, Madelyn Hayes, Trevor Hayes, Clara Kate Harrell, Ella Hayes, and Elson Few; siblings, Johnny Pace, Ruby Nell Cave, Matt Pace, Sally Bryan, Christine Sinclair, and Rusty Pace; her loyal companion, BoBo, along with countless friends and family who will carry her spirit in their hearts.

She is preceded in death by her parents, Nell & Jenkins Smith; son, Bryan Few; and best friend, Sandra Pritchett.

A graveside service to honor Pam's life will be held at Evergreen Baptist Church Cemetery on January 8, 2026, at 2:00 PM with Bro. Don Delukie officiating.

Active pallbearers will be Russ Jones, Bud Parnell, Tim Conerly, Gary Lynn Sinclair, Andrew Crowley, Rocko Milton, Cole Pace, and Sam Coleman.
