Aberdeen Orso

June 23, 1932 — August 24, 2025

It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Pearl Aberdeen Orso, who left this world on August 24, 2025, at the age of 93. Born on June 23, 1932, Aberdeen was a beloved mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, and friend to many in the Coffeeville community and was best known as either Aberdeen, Dean, Nannie, or Grandma

Aberdeen dedicated her life to service, both in her career and through her generous spirit. She spent a decade working for the federal government at Brookley Airforce Base, followed by an impressive twenty years with the Social Security Administration. Beyond her professional accomplishments, she was an instrumental force behind the establishment of the West Bend/Bethel Fire Department, assisting her husband in this endeavor and ensuring the safety and well-being of her community.

Aberdeen's commitment to her friends and neighbors was evident in her actions. She was well-known for her kindness, often taking those unable to drive to appointments and lending a helping hand wherever she could. Her warm heart and gentle smile made her an irreplaceable asset not only to her family but also to all who had the privilege of knowing her.

Aberdeen is survived by her children, Karen (Mark) Davis and Terry (Shirley) Orso; grandchildren, Brandon (Valerie) Orso, Heather Hicks, Jonathan (Lindsey) Orso, Nick (Shea) Lowe, Catherine (Phillip) Bradley, Robert (Nicki) Davis, Greg Evans, and Codi Vick; great grandchildren, Addison and Ellie Orso, Colby Malott, Matthew and Mary Ella Hicks, Savannah Orso, Zoe (Matt) Sullivan, Chance Andrews, Ellis Bradley, Christopher Davis, Landon Clarke, McKenzie Davis, Abigail and Anna Beth Evans; cousins, Mary Dunagan and Conway Dunagan; her best friend of 65 years, Celia Turner; caregiver, Nikki Gaines; as well as a host of family and friends who will carry her memory forward. She will be deeply missed but forever cherished in the hearts of everyone who encountered her love and light.

A visitation will be held for Aberdeen on August 27, 2025, at 10:00 AM, followed by a funeral service at 11:00 AM at the West Bend Baptist Church. After the service, she will be laid to rest in the church cemetery, honoring a life that was truly devoted to family and community.

Active pallbearers will be Brandon Orso, Jonathan Orso, Nick Lowe, Robert Davis, Matthew Hicks, Hawood Hicks, and Gregory Autrey.
