Richard Waller

Richard E. Waller, 83, of Grove Hill, died September 6, 2018. Mr. Waller was born in Cambell, AL on April 22, 1935 to the late Thurman Cleveland and Minnie Mae Wiggins Waller. He had worked in sales for Case Heavy Equipment as well as John Deere Tractor. An avid Auburn fan, Mr. Waller enjoyed football and baseball.

Mr. Waller is preceded in death by his parents and his sister, Ann Howat.

Mr. Waller is survived by his wife, Nancy W. Waller; son, Edward (Paula) Waller; daughter, Georgie Mae (Jeff) Jones; brother, Thurman C. (Sue) Waller, Jr; grandchildren, Brent (Brittany) Jones, Melinda Mea (Brad) Boling, Todd (Somry) Waller, Shafer (Mathew) Dunegan, and Grey Waller; great grandchildren, Jon Parker Jones and Samual Waller.

Services will be held Sunday, September 9, 2018 at Grove Hill Baptist Church. Visitation will be from 2:00 pm until 3:00 pm with the Memorial Service beginning at 3:00 pm. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Mr. Waller's memory to Pilots for Christ or the charity of your choice. Condolences may be offered online at www.lathanfuneralhome.com.
