Ronal Dunagan, 79, of Grove Hill, passed away on March 30, 2026, leaving behind a life defined by hard work, dedication, and a deep love for the outdoors and the open road. He was born on August 13, 1946 to parents, Leroy and Edna Earl Dungan.
Ronal devoted 32 years of his career to Olin Corporation, where he was known for his strong work ethic, reliability, and pride in a job well done. He was not one to shy away from hard work, in fact, he truly enjoyed it, finding purpose and satisfaction in providing for his family and contributing to those around him.
In addition to his civilian career, Ronal honorably served in the Army National Guard for 20 years, from which he later retired. His time in service reflected his sense of duty, discipline, and commitment to something greater than himself. He was also a proud Mason, valuing the principles of brotherhood, integrity, and service that guided his involvement.
Outside of work, Ronal found joy in the simple and meaningful things in life. He loved fishing and hunting, spending countless hours outdoors where he felt most at peace. Whether by the water or in the woods, he appreciated nature and the quiet moments it offered.
Motorcycles were more than a hobby to Ronal; they were a passion and a way of life. He loved riding and took great pride in working on and maintaining his bikes. The freedom of the road and the satisfaction of turning a wrench brought him immense happiness.
Ronal will be remembered as a hardworking man with a strong spirit, someone who found joy in his passions and lived life on his own terms. He leaves behind cherished memories that will continue to live on in the hearts of those who knew and loved him.
