Ronald A. Wilson, 76, of Grove Hill, passed away on August 17, 2026. Ronnie was born on August 2, 1950, to parents Louie and Callie Ree Little Wilson. He grew up in Leroy graduating from Leroy High School and later attended Auburn, married, joined the National Guard, and moved to Grove Hill. He loved the outdoors, early in his career in forestry he was always in the woods cruising timber and other adventures, he had a keen eye for arrowheads, fossils, and other collectables that nature provided. He retired as an electrician, working throughout the Southeast. He loved hunting, fishing, woodworking, painting, and taking care of his dogs. He was a faithful member of Tompkins Baptist Church and loved his church family dearly. Most importantly in Ronnie's life was his family, spending time with his grandchildren and creating everlasting memories.

Survived by his wife of 55 years Merilyn Wilson, son Daniel (Gina) Wilson, daughter Jenny (Chris) Raley, grandchildren Luke (Kylie) Wilson, Stella Wilson, Tommy Wilson, and Caroline (Chasdon) Raley, great-granddaughter Millie Wilson, his siblings Dr. Louie (Gail) Wilson, Larry (Sandra) Wilson, Julia (David) Middleton, also many extended family members and loving friends.

Pallbearers will be Luke Wilson, Tommy Wilson, Brannon Wilson, Adam Wilson, Kyle Wilson, Chuck Roberts, Lynn Pace, Randall Pace, and Greg Middleton. Honorary pallbearers will be his Senior Adult Sunday School class.
