Roxie Sellers

Roxie H. Sellers, 67, of Coffeeville, passed away Friday, May 27, 2022, at SAAD Hospice in Mobile. She was born in Jackson on Monday, December 20, 1954. A veteran educator with 30 years of classroom experience, she taught Family and Consumer Science classes in several schools in Clarke and Washington Counties and retired in 2007 at Leroy High School. She enjoyed cooking, sewing, monogramming and embroidery.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Raymond D. Hodge, Sarah Reeves Hodge and siblings, Ray Hodge, Eleanor McDonald and Reba Kolos.
She is survived by her husband of 43 years, Jerry Roy Sellers; son, Jeremy Sellers; sister, Ramona (Thomas) Powell and numerous other relatives and friends.
A memorial service will be conducted at 3 p.m. on Tuesday, May 31, 2022, at Clearwater Assembly of God Church in Wagarville with the Revs. Jimmie Butts and Kyle Morris officiating and Lathan Funeral Home directing. Visitation will begin one hour prior to the service.
Honorary pallbearers will be Earnest McDonald, Jeff McDonald, George McIntyre, Clint Powell, Cody Sellers and Shane Sellers.
