Royce Parnell

Royce Allen Parnell, Sr., a lifelong resident of Tibbie, went to be with the Lord on November 30, 2019. He was born August 24, 1953 in Mobile. He always enjoyed hunting, especially turkey hunting, being outdoors and visiting with his family and friends.
He was preceded in death by his father, Albert Bruce “Buddy” Parnell; mother, Nelon Baxter and brother, Hayward Parnell.
Left to cherish his memory are his children, April (Damond) Taylor of Sunflower, Liana Chambers of Sunflower, Nikki (Ronald) Parnell of Tibbie, Norma (Mack) Wasler of Citronelle, Royce Allen (Kennedy) Parnell-Brimm, Jr. of Tibbie, Grace Parnell of Tibbie; siblings, Clem Parnell, Dewan Abrams; seven grandchildren and one great-grandchild.
A graveside service will be conducted at 10 a.m. on Wednesday, December 4, 2019 at the Parnell Family Cemetery at 932 Parnell Fork Road, Tibbie, AL 36522 with the Rev. Woodie Baughn officiating and Lathan Funeral Home directing.
Pallbearers will be Davan Eckridge, Kalven Lofton, Royce A. Parnell-Brimm, Jr., Mack Walser, Mack Walser, Jr., Devin Akridge and Ronald Frank.
Honorary pallbearers will be Mitch Kimmons and Chubby Parnell.
A special note of thanks is extended to Sarah Elizabeth Parnell.
