Ruby Thrash

Ruby Reed Thrash, 95, of Cullomburg, passed away Wednesday, June 23, 2021 at SAAD Hospice in Mobile. She was born in Cullomburg on March 29, 1926 to Gladney B. Reed, Sr. and Minnie Worsham Reed. A lifelong homemaker and member of Cullomburg Baptist Church, she enjoyed doing Bible word search puzzles and attending WMU meetings at the church.
She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Maxwell D. Thrash; brother, Gladney B. Reed, Jr.; nieces, Little Sue Reed, Carylon Sellers and nephews, Ervin Reed and Donnie Thompson.
She is survived by nephews and nieces, Sambo (Jackie) Reed, Leroy Sellers, Letha Thompson, numerous great and great-great nieces and nephews, other relatives and friends.
Funeral services will be conducted at 2 p.m. on Saturday, June 26, 2021 at Cullomburg Baptist Church with the Rev. Sammy Taylor officiating. There will be no public visitation prior to the service. Interment will follow the service at the church cemetery with Lathan Funeral Home directing.
Pallbearers will be Dylan Nance, Jeremy Presley, Allen Reed, Derrick Sellers, Eric Sellers and Jacob Singley.
Honoroary pallbearers will be Leroy Sellers and members of the Cullomburg Baptist Church WMU.
