Sara Causey

Sara Christne Causey, 77, of Jackson, passed away on December 23, 2023, at Mobile Infirmary. She was born July 8, 1946, in Grove Hill to parents William and Hazel Dungan Gibson. Sara worked at various businesses in the Jackson area, after retiring she focused her time on her family. She loved getting together and cooking for her family and spending time with her grandchildren.

Preceded in death by her son Jerod Autry, daughter Debrah Autry Howard, parents and sister Patsy Dunegan.

Survived by her children Donna (Clinton) Wynn, Chris Autry, Tracy Autry, Ashley (Allen) Jones, grandchildren Melisa Milstead and Pamela Smith, great-grandchildren Desiree, Tyler, Carree, Maekaylan, Austin, Haeleigh, Tristin, Savanah, Lane, Cooper, great-greatgrandchild Liliana. Also many nieces, nephews, other extended family and loving friends.

Pallbearers will be Tyler Weaver, Austin Smith, George Haze, Lane Autry, Cooper Autry, Tony Graham, and Timmy Graham.

Funeral Services will be at 3 p.m. Sunday, December 31, 2023, at Stave Creek Baptist Church with a visitation one hour prior to services. Bro. Mike Ballard officiating and Lathan Funeral Home directing. Online condolences may be shared at www.lathanfuneralhome.com
