Sherry Lynn Brady Abston, 61, of Jackson, passed away Tuesday, August 13, 2019 at her residence. She was born January 1, 1958 in Laurel, MS to Clifton and Alma Marie Brady. She was passionate in her love and care of all kinds of animals and enjoyed flower gardening. She had been employed as a dental hygienist for Dr. Clarence Hawkins in Grove Hill.
She was preceded in death by her parents and brother, Jerry Lee Brady.
She is survived by her husband of 43 years, Larry W. Abston; children, Suzanne (Ed) Arrington, Chris (Olivia) Abston; grandchildren, Juliana Abston, Kaylee Abston, John Clayton Abston, Cade Abston, Alyssa Arrington, Macie Arrington; siblings, Dot (Bill) Dixon, David (Joyce) Brady and numerous other relatives and friends.
A memorial service will be conducted at 11 a.m. on Saturday, August 17, 2019 at Lathan Funeral Home in Jackson with the Rev. Renea Henderson officiating. Visitation will begin one hour prior to the service.
In lieu of flowers, donations in her memory may be made to the Pine City Veterinary Clinic in Jackson or the Clarke County Animal Shelter in Grove Hill to assist in the care of the animals she loved.
