Shirley Mcvay

Shirley Ann Finch McVay, 83, of Jackson, passed away Monday, April 19, 2021 at Jackson Health Care Facility. She was born in Jackson on April 1, 1938 to W.D. Finch and Jimmie Faust Finch. She had been self-employed as a land title researcher and had attended church at McCann's United Methodist Church in Jackson. She was a lifelong resident of Jackson and never wanted to live anywhere else.
She was preceded in death by her parents; husband of 59 years, Gene McVay and siblings, Clara D. Finch, Jane Lee Martin, David Finch and Carl Finch.
She is survived by her son, Paul (Christine) McVay; sister, Linda Tullos and numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
A private family memorial service will be conducted at a later date honoring both Gene and Shirley McVay. The two will be interred in the family space at Pinecrest Cemetery in Jackson.
