Susan Cain

On Thursday, May 2, 2024, beloved mother and friend, Susan Diane Cain of Memphis, TN, passed away at the age of 71.

She was an only child born to Winfred and Peggy (Brewer) Harmon in Memphis, on December 8, 1952. Susan graduated from Whitehaven High School and attended the University of Memphis.

She worked for Dover Elevator Company until losing her hearing rendered her disabled.

Her hobbies included freelance writing, spending time with family, and spoiling her furry love, Paisley. She was quick to give her opinion, decided in her beliefs, and deeply loved. She will truly be missed by many.

She was preceded in death by her father, Winfred; her mother, Peggy; and numerous Aunts, Uncles, and cousins.

Susan is survived by her loving daughter, Tracy Lankford-husband Matt of Jackson, AL. She also leaves behind a beloved cousin, who she held as a sister, Barbara Holley- husband Danny of Batesville, MS; Bonnie Young of Millington, TN; and Tricia Kamerzink of Batesville, MS.

The family will have a celebration of life memorial service at a later date.
