Tommie Karr

Tommie Mozingo Karr, age 94, died Tuesday, October 25, 2022. Tommie was born June 3, 1928 to Thomas Redon and Bealle McLeod Mozingo. She was a member of Walker Springs Methodist Church, the Order of the Easter Star and had served as a member of the Clarke-Washington EMC Board of Directors for many years.

Tommie is preceded in death by her parents; husband, Edwin Karr and sisters, Willie Grace Fendley and Beth Green.

She is survived by her children, Gretchen Gates (Rayford), Jane Simmons and Paul Karr (Sandra) and a host of grandchildren and great grandchildren as well as numerous other relatives and friends.

Funeral service will be held Friday, October 28, 2022 at 11:00 am at Lathan Funeral Home, Jackson with Bro. William Allison and Bro. Mahlon LeCroix officiating. Visitation will be for one hour prior to the service. Interment will follow in the Walker Springs Community Cemetery.
