Virgie Beck

Virgie Skipworth Beck, 98, of Jackson passed away at her home with her family by her side on December 19, 2020. She was born April 16, 1922 in Grove Hill to John and Della McDonald Skipworth. Vergie took great pride in caring for her family and friends, tending to her flower gardens, and going fishing every chance she had.
Preceded in death by her parents, and husband; Elbert L. Beck, grandsons; Kyle Beck and Clifford LaGrande Beck. And her brothers and sisters.
She is survived by her children; Cecil (Ann) Beck, Linda Skoda, Carolyn Bumpers. Grandchildren; Christopher Skoda, Brandi Johnson. Great grandchildren; Madison Beck and Kelbi Johnson.
Graveside services will be Monday, December 21, 2020 at 11 a.m. at Trinity Memorial Gardens with Rev. Fred Odom officiating and Lathan Funeral Home directing. Condolences can be shared with the family at www.lathanfuneralhome.com
