Danny Joe Ware

Danny Joe Ware, 74, of Chatom, passed away March 3, 2023, at the Washington County Nursing Home. Danny was born on January 31, 1949, to parents Marvin and Delores Lankford Ware. Danny was raised in Mississippi, he graduated from the University of Southern Mississippi in Accounting. He was a controller for Georgia Pacific, later retired. Danny was involved in many organizations, he ran for State Auditor in MS, member of the Jaycees, Civitan Club President, member of the Clarke County Republican Party, National Association of Accountants, Councilman, and acknowledged as Outstanding Young Men of America 1982, and a member of Chatom First Baptist church. Danny loved his family, enjoyed fishing and the outdoors.

Preceded in death by his wife Pamela Lee Webb Ware.

Survived by his children Donna (Roger) Black of State Line, MS, Tony (Angela) Ware of Picayune, MS, Joey Ware of Parker, CO, Lisa Weaver of Leroy, AL, Nicholas Ware of Hattiesburg, MS, and Anne (Bronson) Lexington, KY. Nine grandchildren, 5 great-grandchildren, sister Suzanne (Mac) Allen of Hattiesburg, MS, and three nieces, many other extended family members and loving friends.

Memorial Services will be at 11 a.m. at Johnson Creek Baptist Church, State Line, MS. with Bro. Mike Chatham officiating and Lathan Funeral Home directing. Online condolences may be shared at www.lathanfuneralhome.com
