Howard Few

Howard David Few, 90, of Jackson, passed away February 17, 2023, at Mobile Infirmary. He was born April 28, 1932 to parents Edward and Bessie Marks Few. Howard served his country for 20 years in the United States Navy, afterwards he worked locally and around the world in construction, his specialty was instrumentation. He loved the outdoors, spending time with his family and friends hunting and fishing whenever he could.

Preceded in death by his first wife of 60 years Joyce Barnett Few.

Survived by his wife Havaline Joy Hicks Few, children Vince (Debra) Few, Cindy (Charlie) Barrett, Melinda (Tom) Impastato, grandchildren Megan Few, Ian (Kayleigh), Jenny Few, and Aaron Few, Christian (Josh) Gibson, Benjamin (Anna) Barrett, Heath (Rachel) Impastato, Leah (Nolan) Willisson, Cheyanne (Scottie) Fuller, 11 great grandchildren, and many nieces and nephews, extended family and loving friends.

Pallbearers will be Heath Impastato, Josh Gibson, Ian Few, Aaron Few, Sloan Marks, and Benjamin Barrett. Honorary pallbearers will be his Men's Sunday School Class and Jimmy Atchison.

Funeral services will be at 2 p.m. on Monday, February 20, 2023, at Forest Avenue Baptist Church in Jackson with a visitation one hour prior to services. Pastor John Boss will be officiating and Lathan Funeral Home directing. Interment will be at Trinity Memorial Gardens. Online condolences may be shared at www.lathanfuneralhome.com
